Calm Coloring

A working click-through of the two v1 screens — template gallery and the tap-to-fill canvas — built to the calm-design constraints in §5 of the PRD. Tap a template, then tap a shape to watch the fill settle in. This stands in for the visual design step; nothing here is final until it's reviewed.

Calm-design rules applied

SoundNone. No fill chime, no ambient music.
AnimationOnly the slow color-settle on tap — no other motion anywhere.
RewardNo confetti, badges, or "you did it!" popups.
BrightnessOne small muted palette, reused for chrome and fill alike.

Age tier · 3–5 years

2cm min. touch target 6 colors shown Moderate region count

The only tier scoped for v1 (§5.3, §9). Card and swatch sizing below is illustrative of the target proportions at real device scale.

System palette

Sage Sky Clay Sand Lilac Moss

Six muted swatches total, per §5.2 — the same set tints the gallery cards and fills the coloring regions. No separate "bright" child palette.

8 of the 15 launch templates are built out here as real, tappable scenes so the interaction and palette can be judged properly; the remaining launch templates follow the same construction once art direction is signed off. Print exports from the same vector paths shown on screen (§5.4) — the print button here is a placeholder for that flow.

Share is new — a parent-facing action next to Print that watermarks the finished piece with "Painted by {name}" and hands it to WhatsApp, Instagram, or the system share sheet ("More"). The name is typed fresh each time here and never leaves the device; open question for planning — should this sit behind a simple parental gate, consistent with how App/Play Store kids policies usually treat any outbound share from a children's app.

Reference point: Pok Pok's calm, Montessori-inspired visual language — no overstimulating palette, no menu chrome — informed the restraint here without borrowing its assets.
